The Spine   Care Foundation of India

The social  burden of spinal deformity is a vast and inadequately treated problem. In a poorly developed country like India, the burden of congenital and acquired spinal deformity and spinal injury  forces thousands  to lead abnormal and crippling lives. The very existence of these patients is a degraded , painful reality. The Spinal Care Foundation will launch programmes aimed at the early detection , treatment and rehabilitation of these patients, enabling them to lead full and fulfilling lives. We also aim to contribute significant to education and research into spine care. We are starting with a small corpus of dedicated voluntary workers and hope to build it into a flat, effective organization to further these goals.
